Technical Writing, Research, and Evaluation

One of HCDI's strongest areas is technical writing. HCDI provides a wide-range of writing and communications services. These include, but are not limited to:

• Policy Analysis:  Write white papers and other documents that provide detailed analyses of the impact of proposed and current legislative programs and other initiatives.
• Conference Proceedings:  Capture critical information from a conference/meetings or series of forums to share with policy makers as an opportunity for policy development or programmatic change.
• Note taking: Take professional notes ascertaining key points of information for attendees to review.
• Transcription: Electronically capture word-for-word scripts of conference speakers, plenary speakers and featured subject matter experts.
• Writing Seminars:  Conduct seminars to improve the quality of organizational writing.
• Marketing Materials: Write capability statements, design and produce brochures, create and produce print and radio ads, and complete drafted written documents.
• Growth Plans:  Work closely with senior-level executives to develop marketing plans which serve as a blueprint to guide organizational activities.
• Other writing services: HCDI specializes in supporting executive officers, public officials, entertainers, and other public figures. Our services in this area include taking detailed notes and/or recorded notes and transforming them into speeches, and writing speeches that reflect the preferred style and tone of the client.

Research and evaluation:  HCDI’s staff includes professionals with extensive experience in research, evaluation, and assessment.  We carefully study background information to create the highest quality project design.  Quantitative and qualitative methods are often combined in a mixed-method fashion to produce a design that is specifically tailored to the client’s needs. 

Our evaluation expertise includes formative, summative, needs assessment, implementation and process evaluation, impact, and outcome evaluation.  We consider policies, procedures, and operations to gain breadth and depth to formulate a comprehensive perspective.
