HCD International plans “Green Meetings.”  We will plan your communication, facilities, activities, and transportation, as well as food and beverage options by:

  • Choosing a meeting facility with a demonstrated environmental commitment
  • Locating meetings near accommodations to minimize excessive travel and provide incentives for alternative transportation to and from meetings
  • Planning menus focused around abundant, locally produced food (preferably organic)
  • Encouraging attendees and exhibitors to limit printed handouts. Use Power Point or slide presentations when possible
  • Looking for a facility that invites attendees to conserve energy and reduce waste through linen and towel reuse programs and/or recycling programs
  • Choosing facilities that are conveniently located near public transportation lines.
